Castro And Janet Bandu To Be Legally Declared Dead On July 7th

Castro, a Ghanaian hiplife singer, and Miss Janet Bandu, who vanished on a Jet Ski on the Ada River seven years ago, will be formally proclaimed dead early next month.

Castro went away with Miss Janet Bandu while on vacation with the Gyan brothers at the Ada Estuary, where he was once known as Theophilus Tagoe.

As the Jet Ski they were riding was being collected, the two were believed to have perished.

Attempts by a number of fetish priests and religious leaders to recover their remains have all failed.

Asamoah Gyan, a Ghanaian footballer who has spoken out multiple times about the sad situation, is still baffled as to how such a thing could happen.

“He [Castro] came to my house a day before we traveled to Ada and said he was on his way to Kumasi and would not join us,” Gyan stated. However, while driving to Ada on the Accra-Tema highway, we received a phone call from “Under” [Castro] requesting that we wait for him.”

“We parked at a gas station, where a crowd had gathered to see me. Because he was not originally a part of the trip, I eventually had the feeling it was supposed to happen. Everything went smoothly after we arrived in Ada. We planned to stay three days, but on the second day, we decided to use the Jet Ski,” he continued.

However, under Ghanaian law, a person may only be formally pronounced dead by a court after seven years of disappearance.

According to Section 33 of the Evidence Act of 1975, a person can only be pronounced legally dead by a court after seven years if he has not been seen or heard from despite diligent and persistent efforts to locate him.

Both Castro and Miss Janet Bandu are projected to be proclaimed dead after July 7, 2021, as a result of the above.
