“Injury Prevented Me from Playing Football, I Used To Ball Like Saha” – Kuami Eugene Reveals

Kuami Eugene, the Ghanaian Highlife sensation, has revealed how, despite being a gifted footballer, he ended himself in the music industry.

A serious head injury, according to the talented singer, put an end to his dream of becoming a professional footballer.

The singer of “Angela” claimed that his friends and instructors compared him to former France striker Louis Saha because he was so talented at football.

“I used to be a No. 9 player. They used to refer to me as Saha. He told Angel FM, “I played at Fadama Park and at Darkuman.”

Kuami Eugene explained the nature of his injuries, saying it occurred during a youth game when he collided with a goalkeeper.

He said he smacked his head on the ground and had to go to the hospital because of the severity of the incident.

“I collided with the ground and injured my head. I was in a lot of agony and had to go to the hospital. As a result, they contacted my mother, who told the coach, who took care of my medical bills. After that, the coach cautioned me not to enter the park again.

“That's how I decided to stop playing football.” I did a fantastic job… You could see I was pretty excellent because I was a tremendous dribbler,” he added.
