Sarkodie Speaks About The Dr. UN Awards For The First Time (Video)
Michael Owusu Addo better known as Sarkodie, the Ghanaian rapper, has spoken out about the phony Dr. United Nations accolade he received last year.
The self-proclaimed world ambassador ‘Dr' Kwame Owusu Fordjour, also known as Dr. UN, presented the rapper with an award.
D-Black, Berla Mundi, Johnnie Hughes, Dr. Okoe Boye, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Nathaniel Attoh, SK Boafo, Chairman Wontumi, and others were among those honored.
However, the further inquiry found that, according to Mr. Fordjour's claims, the reward system had no ties to the United Nations.
Sarkodie has now addressed what occurred at the concert after receiving mocking from Twitter users and trolls.
However, he explained that he went there because his manager Angelo told him they have an appointment and he must respect that. He went on to say that upon arriving he saw many things that showed the awards weren't genuine but refused to leave because of the dignitaries he saw around.
