“I Have Never Been Underrated” – Akwaboah Reveals
Ghanaian singer and songwriter Akwaboah replies to claims that his music is underappreciated because it isn't “loud” or “blaring.”
Despite the notion that being “loud” in the profession might increase one's fan base, Akwaboah told Cookie Tee on TV3 New Day that he has never been devalued. He lacks the “loud” personality of other performers, yet he can hold his own.
He went on to add that, despite not having a “huge” personality, all of his planned shows were sold out months in advance, and that thousands of people came to see him play.
“Akwaboh is undervalued.” I'm all over the place, but I don't create much of a fuss. It's possible that being loud will help you acquire fame and numbers. So, what's next after being obnoxious? Every one of my shows is entirely sold out. “I'm sure some of my fans don't use social media,” he continued, “but they appreciate my music.”
