“Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi & Amakye Dede Should Be Earning Millions From GHAMBRO Today” – Shatta Wale

Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., popularly known as , has stated that certain senior citizens in the Ghanaian music business deserve greater royalties.

Despite his ramblings, he believes that some of the giants who paved the way for the majority of those in the music industry need to be paid more.

In a tweet, he named Daddy, Kojo Antwi, and Amakye Dede as some of the icons he believes the Ghana Music Rights Organization should pay millions of cedis in royalties (GHAMRO).

This comes after set a new record at GHAMRO for the greatest earnings in the music business thus far. Shatta Wale was just paid GH30,000 by the group after distribution in December of last year.

Shatta Wale, on the other hand, attacked the organization, claiming that the sum they claim is the biggest thus far is an insult to his music career and that he is entitled to more.

He also added that several Ghanaian musicians would not support him in this struggle until they had suffered the same fate as him.
