Ismael Mohammed Sherif, better known as Black Sherif, the Ghanaian trap/drill phenomenon, has revealed three critical characteristics that have likely contributed to his success as one of Ghana’s top emerging artists.
In his brief career in Ghana’s music business, Black Sherif has amassed a great deal of success. The singer was unexpectedly catapulted to stardom and quick success when his “First” and “Second Sermon” went viral.
He has amassed a sizable following and topped various social media charts, as well as been recognized across a variety of channels. He was just nominated for roughly eight awards at the forthcoming 3Music Awards.
Black Sherif has been nominated for “Breakthrough Artiste of the Year” as well as “Artiste of the Year,” and he hopes to match Sarkodie’s VGMA record by winning both categories on the night.
In an interview, Black Sherif remarked that anyone who wants to be successful in life must be focused on what they are doing as well as tenacious.
