Ghanaian footballer and singer has revealed in a recent interview that he was in the same class (JHS) as dancehall king Charles Nii Armah Mensah, Shatta Wale at Seven Great Academy.

Speaking more about Shatta Wale being controversial, the former Ghanaian skipper revealed he knows Shatta Wle very well and he respects himself more than you think, but as a showbiz man, he just chose to be controversial to get attention. Asanoah Gyan revealed some things Shatta Wale says should not be taken seriously because he is not even serious when he says it aggresively.

When asked about how teachers were able to contain such two stubborn children, Asamoah laughed and said they were stubborn to the extent that their own peers thought they wouldn't make it, as they revealed the work they will do when they grow up.
