We have Started 40 days prayer for Black Stars Ahead of World Cap – Dr. Lawrence Tetteh
The Black Stars have begun a 40-day period of prayer and fasting in order to get ready for their 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign, according to Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, the founder and president of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach.
According to the pastor, he felt compelled to pray for the team in order to help them put on a strong performance at the World Cup, which would be held in Qatar.
In a GTV interview, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh stated that in order to prepare for the match, he has already led prayer sessions with some Black Stars players.
“Over the last several days, Moses Foh Amoaning has been pressuring me to pray with some of them, and we've even begun a 40-day prayer initiative directed towards Qatar. He said that most of us would be travelling to Qatar.
He said that “the majority of the players are young guys I have motivated in a variety of ways.”
Recall that the Black Stars qualified for their fourth straight World Cup match with their victory over Nigeria in the World Cup playoffs.
Ghana is slated to face a number of opponents at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, starting in November, including Uruguay, South Korea, and Portugal.
The Black Stars were eliminated from the World Cup the last time they took part in it in the group stage.
