Black Stars Arrive In Qatar In Grand Style

The players and support staff of the Ghanaian national team were photographed wearing woven smocks from Ghana, showing the diversity of our country's culture.

International observers in Qatar, in particular, have taken note of their traditional attire.

On Thursday, the Ghanaian Black Stars defeated Switzerland 2-0 in a friendly exhibition.

The first half ended in a goalless tie, but Mohammed Salisu and Antoine Semenyo's two goals in the second half were enough for the Black Stars to cruise to victory.

Twitter has been awash with congratulations for the Black Stars since their 2-0 victory over Switzerland on November 17, 2022.
