Ghana Ranked 24th Best Team At The 2022 World Cup
Out of the 32 teams that competed in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Ghana was rated as the 24th-best team.
With a FIFA rating of 61st, the Black Stars were the lowest-ranked side entering the competition.
Otto Addo's team was placed in a difficult Group H with Uruguay, South Korea, and Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal.
They ultimately took last place in the group after regrettably winning just one game and giving up seven goals.
Although Ghana lost to Portugal in their first match, they rebounded to defeat South Korea in their second group match.
The Black Stars were on the verge of making it to the round of 16, but they lost to Uruguay 2-0 and were eliminated from the competition.
Despite their early elimination, the Black Stars were rated as the 24th-best team at the just-concluded World Cup.
Tunisia is placed 21st overall, whereas Cameroon is classified as the 19th team in the competition.
Senegal also advanced to the round of 16, while Morocco, who reached the semi-finals and ended fourth, was the top-finishing African side at the World Cup.
After a thrilling 3-3 stalemate in regulation and extra time, Argentina defeated France 4-2 on penalties to win the match and become the new world champions.
