It Doesn’t Take Me More Than 10 Minutes To Produce A Hit – Mix Master Garzy

Record producer and DJ Benjamin Garzy Mensah, better known as Mix Master Garzy, has shared how long it takes him to create a song.

When there is a good mood to work with, the well-known Ghanaian sound engineer claims that he sometimes just needs 5 to 10 minutes to play beats for artists.

“It doesn't have to take a long time to create a song for an artist, so sometimes it may only take around 5 or 10 minutes and I'll be done playing the beats,” he admitted on Kastle FM.

“Other times, it might also take like an hour or perhaps two hours to finish it, but the feeling at the moment is what we work with,” he stated.

The 34-year-old multi-award winner was asked how many songs he has so far created since he began in 2008 during an interview with Amansan Krakye.

In the same interview, he remarked, “I have to sit down and calculate the number of songs I have created so far because when I think back I have really done a lot in the music industry.”
