People Like Gyakie Have Come To Show Us That You Don’t Need To Expose Yourself To Trend – Michy
Ghanaian lovebird and songstress Gyakie has been praised by Michy for leveraging her talent rather than her physical appearance to reach international fame.
Female musicians have frequently faced the urge to exploit their bodies as a means of success and attention in the music industry.
But according to Shatta Michy, Gyakie has changed the game as an artist by demonstrating that you don't have to be sexually explicit in order to create great music.
Michy, a guest on the Ladies Circle on TV3, lauded Gyakie for her musical style and said that she is setting a good example for upcoming female musicians.

“I don't think she's ever come off as sexual; she's always in a good outfit, and that's what I am also trying to do personally and musically when I come back; I don't want to go back to wearing transparent clothing to trend,” the speaker said.
