Samini Didn’t Discover Me, He Just Helped Me Grow – Kofi Kinaata

In a recent interview on #UrbanBlend with Blakk Rasta on 3FM, Martin King Arthur, better known as Kofi Kinaata, praised his former boss, , for the role he played in his music career while admitting that the high-ranking family leader wasn't responsible for his discovery as a musical prodigy.

Once more, Kofi Kinaata expressed his sincere gratitude for 's enormous influence on his rise to fame.

Kofi Kinaata, who is from Takoradi in Ghana's Western Region, reflected on his early career and singled out the crucial moment when he joined the High-Grade Family, an important musical ensemble, at a time when he was still relatively unknown.


I'm not sure what the discovery word means, but Samini has been incredibly helpful to my career, Kinaata said.


The opportunity to travel with Samini, a well-known name in the Ghanaian music field, was given to Kinaata during this time.

While Samini has been extremely beneficial to my profession, Kinaata said, “The discovery word, I don't grasp it.

The collaboration helped Kinaata quickly obtain fame and support from Samini's already-existing fans. Kinaata's own fan base started to expand rapidly as Samini's supporters warmed to him.

“When I wasn't well-known, I was signed up for the high-grade family. When I accompanied Samini, his fans quickly became my fans because that is how they found out about me, he said.
