Chef Failatu

Abdul Razak has opened up about one of her difficult moments following an unbroken ten-day cooking marathon.

In a TV3 interview, the committed cook said that she experienced a period of illness. She had been cooking for 227 hours and fifteen minutes.

Failatu said that she was suffering from malaria and numbness throughout the interview.

She said that she would not give up on her goal of shattering the record for the longest cooking marathon by one individual, even in the face of health difficulties. Chef Faila stressed that her drive to keep going came from her own enthusiasm rather than any outside pressure from her teammates.

As she pursued her record-breaking achievement, the Ghanaian chef revealed honestly that she would have been happy if she had died in the kitchen. Her readiness to make that sacrifice in honor of those who had faith in her was emphasized.

Faila emphasized that her drive went beyond self-actualization; she wanted to change the course of history, her family's, and the northern area of Ghana, her birthplace, for the better.

She was grateful to have had help during the demanding ten days of nonstop cooking during the entire interview.
