Chef Failatu Cook-a-thon: Day 3 in record breaking cooking marathon
Chef Failatu is still working hard on the third day of the cook-a-thon, appearing more self-assured and driven than ever.
Chef Faila has just under 53 hours left to break the record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual after finishing 72 hours.
As of right now, she has cooked more than 60 distinct regional dishes and served more than 600 plates to guests at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale as well as the homeless on the streets.
Failatu is scheduled to cook for at least 120 hours, from January 1 to January 5, 2024.
The current record, which stands at 119 hours and 57 minutes, was set in 2023 by Alan Fisher from Ireland.
