Chef Faila cries as she speaks to bring her Cook-A-Thon to an end (VIDEO)
On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, Chef Faila’s attempt to set a new record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual was unsuccessful after 227 hours of cooking.
The cook-a-thon was originally scheduled to begin on January 1, 2024, at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale, and run for five days.
She aimed to surpass Irish chef Alan Fisher’s record of 119 hours. However, the schedule was revised to include an extra 10 days.
Just moments after putting out the fire, Chef Faila was covered with the Ghanaian flag.
An emotional Faila was captured, almost shedding tears as she shared the photos to announce the end of her cook-a-thon.
