Joseph Paintsil Refute Chris Hughton’s Claim Of Him Having Fatigue During The First Half Of The Ghana-Mozambique Game
In their dismal 2-2 tie with Mozambique in their last group game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Ghana’s winger Joseph Paintsil has lashed out over being substituted at halftime.
With the half coming to an end, the Genk winger was noticeably replaced by Andre Ayew.
In the first half, the 25-year-old was one of Ghana’s best players and earned the penalty that resulted in the country’s first goal.
Paintsil did not return with the squad when they took a vacation. Amid the confusion, he was questioned by his buddies, who are journalists, about why he was substituted off. When they told him it was due to exhaustion, he said, “What fatigue?”
