“I Dumped My Boyfriend Because He Asked Me To Choose Between Him And My Career” – Anita Akuffo

Newscaster Anita Akuffo from Ghana has shared her experience dealing with an ex-boyfriend who nearly discouraged her from pursuing her ambition.

Anita described how she hoped to compete in the Miss Malaika Pageant at the Ghana Institute of Journalism when she reached level 200 in a post on Instagram Stories.

Her goal has always been to work on television, and she believed that Miss Malaika would help her realize this dream.

However, her partner was adamantly against the idea when they had a discussion. He still nodded in agreement even after she went on to list all the advantages of competing in the pageant.

He even went so far as to challenge her to decide between following him and her profession. Anita, a courageous lady with self-awareness, chose her career and went on to try out for the Miss Malaika Pageant.

She was able to get many ambassadorial deals as a result of her choice today.

Anita continued, telling young ladies to surround themselves with dream-supporters.
