Wayne Gretzky Family: Parents, Siblings, Wife, Children
Wayne Gretzky is a former Canadian professional ice hockey player and head coach who played for four teams in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 20 seasons, from 1979 to 1999.
He is the all-time leading scorer in NHL history, having scored more goals, assists, and points than any other player. Gretzky recorded over 100 points in 15 seasons, 13 of which were consecutive.
At the time of his retirement in 1999, he held 61 NHL records, including 40 regular season records, 15 playoff records, and 6 All-Star records.
Gretzky began his career as the top scorer in the 1978 World Junior Championships and signed with the Indianapolis Racers of the World Hockey Association (WHA).
He briefly played for them before being traded to the Edmonton Oilers, where he set numerous scoring records and led his team to four Stanley Cup championships. Gretzky’s trade to the Los Angeles Kings in 1988 had an immediate impact on their performance, leading them to the 1993 Stanley Cup Finals.
Following his retirement in 1999, Gretzky was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame and received the Order of Hockey in Canada in 2012.

He is currently married to Janet Jones, an American actress who has appeared in several movies such as The Flamingo Kid (1984), A League of Their Own (1992), The Sound and the Fury (2014), and American Siege (2021).
Wayne Gretzky Children
Gretzky has five children with his wife Janet Jones. The couples children are Paulina, Ty, Trevor, Tristan and Emma. Amongst his kids, it is only Ty who played hockey in high school before deciding to quit the sport altogether during college.
