Nana Ama McBrown Sympathizes with Funny Face on United Showbiz
Host of UTV's United Showbiz, Nana Ama Mcbrown has sympathized with her friend and colleague, Funny Face who was recently committed to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital following a court ruling.
Speaking on the show, she said, “What has happened to our brother, the ‘Children's President', Funny Face who we have had here severally is very unfortunate. It had been going on for a few months and seemed like fun and games, however, it is a big issue. To the extent that the matter was sent to court and he was sent to a mental facility. It is very sad and is not a joke any longer.”
A guest on the show by name Arnold however said that, it was good that Funny Face was sent to receive the care he needs. Therefore, he does not see it to be a sad issue, but something beneficial to the comedian instead.
“We had said it a number of times on this show that Funny Face needed help. So, if he is being sent to a place where he can get help, I do not see anything wrong with it,” Arnold said.
More well wishers continue to express their support to Funny Face even in these tough times.
