Last Video Of Policeman Who Was Killed By Robbers, Jamming To Sarkodie’s ‘Coachella’ Surfaces Online
Emmanuel Osei, a young Ghanaian police officer, was shot and killed by armed criminals in a bullion van robbery. On Monday, June 14, 2021, a civilian was killed in a tragic occurrence in James Town in Accra.
The bullion van was on a daily collection route, according to the Greater Accra Regional Police PRO, DSP Efia Tenge.
A video of him enjoying himself with ace Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie’s Coachella track has now surfaced online, as social media users mourn with his family.
One may tell from the video that the late police officer was vibrant.

However, a few hours after the robbery and killing of the young police officer, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) has directed the Director-General, Criminal Investigation Department, to take over the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the killing of a police officer and a bystander during the attack.
The van’s driver was also injured and was sent to the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital for treatment.
According to a press release issued by the Ghana Police Service’s Director of Public Affairs, Superintendent of Police (SP) Sheila Abayie-Buckman, crime scene experts have visited the area and are doing the necessary processes to aid in the investigation.
