Deloris Frimpong Manso, commonly known as “,” the Ghanaian media figure, has decried the fact that individuals do not show concern for their family members while they are living but mourn when they die.

We value people more when they are dead than when they are alive, not just in Africa but throughout the world. Even if a person is suffering from severe depression and emotional trauma, no one seems to notice.

has expressed her dissatisfaction with the reality that people mourn for the return of a deceased person whom they failed to respect when alive.
