Sadio Mane To Miss The 2022 World Cup To Be Held In Qatar
According to the French publication L'Equipe, Senegalese superstar Sadio Mane of Bayern Munich has been disqualified from the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Due to a tendon injury, he sustained yesterday during a league game for the German champions, the 30-year-old forward will miss the World Cup, according to the report.
In the last game week of the Bundesliga season before the World Cup in Qatar, which starts in less than two weeks, Mané was taken off the field after just 20 minutes.
According to L'Équipe, the former Liverpool attacker has a tendon injury that will keep him out for several weeks and prevent him from competing in the World Cup.
Senegal, which enters the competition as the African champions and has a team that is undoubtedly capable of competing well in the tournament, will suffer a severe loss as a result of his absence.
