The #FixTheCountry Campaign Got Bloody That’s Why I Pulled Off – Efia Odo

Ghanaian actress, model, and now musician, Andrea Owusu, better known as Efia Odo, has explained why she withdrew from the largest protest ever held in Ghana, the #FixTheCountry movement.

The campaign, according to her, “became bloody, which led to deaths, and she had to modify the method of doing things.” It was intended to call for a revision of Ghana's constitution.

Due to the 1992 constitution's outmoded nature, the #FixTheCountry movement was just calling for the Republic to adopt a new constitution, but they failed.

Efia stated that she withdrew to save her life in an interview with Felicia Osei on Wednesday, January 11, 2023,'s “Adwuma Adwuma” show on Onua FM.
