Kevin Sol expresses interest in working with Keeny Ice, drops “Songbird EP” in September
Tema based musician Kevin Sol disclosed in an interview with SwanQy Jay on Nyewase Dryv on Wednesday, June 12 that he listens to all Volta Musicians and will love to work with the Hello Adepa Volta Music Artiste Of The Year Keeny Ice.
He said all the artists are equally good but he wishes to have a song with the artists of the year.
Kelvin Sol revealed that Chicago's Daavi Mɛ Ɖɛ Kuku influenced his Koko which featured Edem and Sena Dagadu but not entirely. He said he loves to compose songs telling stories about things that happen around him and other topics.
Kelvin Sol recounted that he goes to buy porridge (Koko) with friends instead of going for lectures and other related fond memories also inspired his Koko song.
He hints on releasing his debut EP titled Songbird hopefully in September this year. The EP consists of seven (7) songs and it features Kojo Cue, Sena Dagadu, Edem, FlowKing Stone.
The artiste also told SwanQy Jay that he is an independent artiste (not signed onto any record label) and has no management. He does it on his own with support from the people who believe in his dream.
