“Gyakie Will Fade Away Quickly If She Does Not Listen To Critics” – DJ Slim
Ghanaians have slammed DJ Slim for accusing singer Gyakie of being a “lazy” and “one-way” musician.
The Radio One 105.7 host said in a video sighted on Instagram that the ‘Forever' hitmaker is overhyped.
He made those remarks when discussing Gyakie and Amerado's latest appearance on United Showbiz on UTV, which was hosted by Nana Ama McBrown.
Slim has said that he only performs the song “Forever” when people want it. People who accused him of being a hater reacted negatively to his remarks.
But only yesterday, April 25, 2021, in the studios of Radio One 105.7, DJ Slim seemed resolute, perhaps after receiving a slew of threatening calls from Ghanaians in response to his disparaging remarks about Gyakie's music style and profession.
Gyakie and her management should disregard DJ Slim's advice that Gyakie is a “one direction” artiste if they want to fade away easily, according to DJ Slim, who claims to have over 16 years of experience in the game.
As a result, DJ Slim observed that a considerable number of Ghanaian musicians have struggled to survive longer in the music industry, owing to their inability to adhere to critical advice and a lack of creativity.
