“Sarkodie’s Songs Are One Way Now” – Presenter Claims

Nana Adwoa Annan, a TV personality, has stated that she no longer finds anything fresh in Sarkodie's songs.

She expressed her view on Happy98.9FM's Showbiz Xtra with presenter Doctar Cann during a debate on what the BET Awards organizers look for in picking nominees, which they did not discover in any of the young Ghanaian artists.

Dr. Cann mentioned that, aside from the new artists who are succeeding, Sarkodie is still in the game, to which Nana Adwoa said, “He is still in the game, but when you listen to Sarkodie again and again, it's like you're listening to the same song.”

If anyone disagrees with Nana Adwoa's viewpoint, it does not change the fact that Sarkodie was not nominated for the BET Awards; therefore, if it is not about repetition, we need to sit down and figure out what exactly is missing in his music, as well as that of other artists, that disqualified them from the BET nominations list.
