“I Started Producing Hit Songs Before I Became Popular” – Appietus
Appietus, the Ghanaian sound engineer and musician, has revealed that he began writing hit songs before he became a household name.
When asked about his journey, he stated that music and sound production have always piqued his interest, which irritated those around him because he would make sounds out of any gadget he came across.
“I also had the opportunity to learn from some of the greatest sound engineers in the nation at the time, such as KK and many others,” he added.
“At the time I was still learning,” he stated on the Ayekoo After Drive Show on Happy 98.9 FM with Doctar Cann, “so they produced some and left the rest for me to manage, but after a while when they saw I was excellent at what I did, they left everything to me.”
Appietus claimed to have created successful songs for Nananom, Sydney, Adane Best, Kozo, KK Fosu, and other artists.
“As a result, I had a lot of hits before I became famous. “The only difference is that at the time, there was no Appietus,” he said.
