“Black Sherif’s ‘Kweku The Traveller’ Is The Biggest Hit Since Patapaa’s One Corner” – Social Media Influencer Opines
On Twitter today, an influencer named Malik Ofori made an opinion saying Sherif Ismail Frimpong's “Kweku the Traveller” is the biggest hit from the Ghanaian music industry after Swedru-based Justice Amoah's “One Corner Song.”
Patapaa's one corner released in 2017 was enjoyed by both young and old individuals who took turns to show off their skills because of its danceable rhythm.
The ‘One Corner' singer made his stage debut at Kasapa FM's Swedru Akwambo Musik Fest. Months after the song's release, most Ghanaians were infected with the new funny dance techniques to the song.
Later, the song and its dancing motions crossed Ghana's border into Nigeria. Surprisingly, many music fans in attendance appreciated it as well. In several instances, many Nigerians have been captured in viral videos performing the “one corner” dance routines.
When Google Nigeria presented the findings of its 2017 Year in Search to the media on Wednesday in Lagos, this was made clear.
After citizens from other nations joined in on the one-corner challenge, it became a worldwide sensation.
Meanwhile, the current banging song, Kweeku the Traveller, is also moving gradually as it is the most shanzamed song in the world right now and people from other countries are hopping on the challenge too.
By far, we can't tell if truly Black Sherif's kweku the traveller is the biggest hit after Patapaa's one corner.
