Ghanaian TicTok Stars Must Stay Humble – Lilwin Warns
Legendary Kumawood actor and contemporary producer Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin has urged Tiktokers, particularly those who identify as “stars,” to maintain their modesty and have pleasure on the platform.
Lilwin claims in an interview with blogger Zionfelix that Tiktok is merely a trend that will soon disappear. He reasoned that it is only prudent for them to avoid offending people if they are earning money via gifts and tokens on the app.
“You are currently using a temporary app.” Apps have come and gone in droves. Anything is temporary. Therefore, don't be proud of where you receive your daily bread. There, we don't tolerate haughtiness or idle conversation. You eat at the place. Lilwin said.
“Therefore, I counsel my sisters (female Tiktoers) to humble themselves since, excuse me, you have nothing without the app.” You are not a star, either.
Lilwin has previously argued that users of Tikto should not be considered celebrities. Several well-known Tiktokers reacted negatively to this, claiming Lilwin spoke out of jealousy.
