Wizkid Abandons Show In Abidjan Hours After Keeping Ghanaians Disappointed

Wizkid, a Nigerian artist, reportedly canceled a performance in Abidjan, the capital of Ivory Coast, following a similar event on December 10 in Accra.

Despite tweeting about the event hours before it started, the singer who was scheduled to play at the Accra Sports Stadium alongside R2Bees, King Promise, and other Ghanaian artists failed to show up. 

Late on Sunday, he gave an explanation on social media for why he skipped the Wizkid Live Accra concert he was headlining at the Accra Sports Stadium. 

Ghanaian entertainment journalist, Olele Salvador, made this revelation on Twitter,  saying:
