Wizkid Set To Host A Free Show In Ghana To Compensate Ghanaians
Wizkid has apologized to Ghanaian concertgoers who purchased tickets for his scheduled performance at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 10, 2022, but were turned away.
After waiting in anticipation to see him play for 12 hours, Ghanaian fans of the international performer took umbrage with him for failing to show up at the event.
About 5,000 people were expecting the artist, who was scheduled to perform last night, but he did not arrive. Wizkid fans were hesitant to leave the event because they were so hopeful that the Grammy Award-winning singer and entertainer would appear.
Angry followers have subsequently turned to social media to express their disappointment at how he treated them.
Wizkid has finally responded with a tweet on his social media to offer his apologies to patrons who are disappointed in him for failing to show up for his event. He has also promised the Ghanaian fans a free show in the coming days, but the date and other details will be announced soon. This comes after several hours of angry fans who were present at the event to witness Wizkid live in concert tweeting their outrage on social media.
