January Is A Month I Hate – Nana Ama Mcbrown
In a recent interview to mark her entry into media General, actress Felicity Nana Agyemang, better known by her stage name Nana Ama Mcbrown, confessed how she despises the first month of every year.
For the first time, Nana Ama McBrown disclosed in front of the general public that she had been expelled from the United States in January 2001, which is why she detested the month so much.
An uncle who traveled to Ghana from the United States and thought her condition was uncomfortable invited her.
She claimed that when the invitation arrived, she believed that her career as a football player would take a turn. But things didn't go as planned.
I really don't like January because nothing truly goes as planned for me during this month. I've never stated this before, but I will say it now to encourage someone. After playing football at Kwadaso, my uncle returned from the US and ran into me (in a suburb of Kumasi). My uncle promised to take me abroad when he saw me playing table tennis after that. “I was in America in January, in all honesty, but to cut a long story short, I was deported,” she admitted in an interview with Captain Smart.
