With the release of the trailer for a forthcoming single, Ghanaian dancehall superstar Stonebwoy has drawn attention.

The artist can be seen singing along to a portion of the song in his studio in the one-minute footage, which was shared on Stonebwoy's official Twitter account.

Many listeners noted that the song and its lyrics could be a dig at Shatta Wale, an industry colleague, even though these can just be innocent lyrics for a song.

They drew attention to the post's timing, which came just a short time after Shatta Wale accused Stonebwoy and his management of purposefully ruining his upcoming “Freedom Wave” concert, which was set for December 25th, by reserving the stadium for his “Ashaiman to the World + BHIM concert + Fifth Dimension” show.

In response, Stonebwoy's team claimed that Shatta Wale was merely passing out flyers and that they had already reserved and were going to pay for the venue.
