“Ghana Police Didn’t Treat Me Right When I Was Arrested, I Have To Be Compensated” – Kwaw Kese

The Ghana Police Service is the target of legal action by musician Kwaw Kese, who was jailed for allegedly using marijuana.

In 2015, the ‘Abodam’ crooner was fined GHc1,200 and given a day’s jail for consuming marijuana in public. He expressed his humiliation during an interview with Daybreak Hitz.

He says he has evidence that the Ghana Police ignored Jamaican musician Popcaan’s public marijuana use.

He clarified that although he was imprisoned, “the foreigner was protected and spared,” despite the Ghana Police’s lack of photographic or video proof to back up their allegations against him.

He clarified that he was imprisoned but that “the foreigner was protected and spared,” despite the fact that Ghana Police has no image or video proof to back up their allegations against him.

“I went to jail for it, and the police officers who arrested me are now escorting someone to smoke in public while they get away with it. If that’s the case, I should receive payment; it’s unfair. He told Andy Dosty, “I feel like the system hasn’t been fair to me, and the Ghana Police didn’t treat me right.”

He only replied, “One million dollars,” when asked how much money he wanted from the police for supposedly damaging his name.
