Rapper Kwaw Kese talked candidly about the surprising influence Facebook has on his romantic life.

Using the social networking medium, the musician humorously recounted how he met and married Nana Pokua, also known as Poks.



Kwaw Kese reflected on the special meeting that signaled the start of his romantic journey during an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz.

He playfully disclosed that his quirkiness, or “Abodam” character, peaked during a time in his career when his wife was drawn to him.

Kwaw Kese persisted even though he couldn’t connect with Nana Pokua at Reggie Rockstone’s Office nightclub at first.

He said that he had turned to Facebook in a serious attempt to locate her, saying, “I sent Nana Pokua a DM after going through rapper Scientific’s Facebook friends.”


After a week, the rapper’s unorthodox strategy paid off when Nana Pokua answered, starting a dialogue that ultimately transformed their lives.

Kwaw Kese provided insights about their relationship’s difficulties as they worked through them, particularly the changes Nana Pokua had to make to fit his public image.
