“I No Longer Board ‘Trotro’ Or Dress Anyhow Due To My Celebrity Status” – Kofi Jamar Reveals
After achieving a certain degree of success in the industry, popular Ghanaian rapper Kofi Jamar has counted his blessings.
“Yeah, that's the only issue I've had since becoming a celebrity because I used to live my life as a regular street kid. But now I can't live that life again, like boarding a trotro or riding a bike to where I'm going, or wearing any clothing and going out with it since that was my lifestyle back then,” Kofi Jamar said in a Kastle FM interview.
The Kumerican rapper recently remarked that his fame status has made him more responsible since people look up to him.
“However, now that people are watching me, I have to modify and adapt because I have to appear decent and always do things correctly. As a result, it has made me much more responsible for myself, not just for myself, and it has resulted in a lot of work,” he explained.
After the release of his first EP, titled ‘The Truth,' in May 2020, the ‘Mi Dey Up' hitmaker has launched his second EP, titled ‘Appetite for Destruction.'
