“Sarkodie’s Rap Influenced My Music” – BBNaija Laycon Reveals

Winner of Big Brother Naija Season 5, Laycon has revealed in a recent interview that one of the main reasons he started doing music was because of our very own rap star, Michael Owusu Addo, well known as Sarkodie.

He stated he used to study Sarkodie's lyrics and rap it to his friends and classmates, but he stopped since he couldn't explain what Sarkodie was saying when questioned.

He did, however, state that listening to the rapper had had a significant impact on his musical career thus far.

He also recognized the influx of new bands, stating that he listens to and enjoys their music as well.

Well, this is no surprising because Sarkodie is one of the most streamed Ghanaian artiste in Nigeria. He has won th hearts of music lovers in Nigeria and Africa with his craft.
