“I Got Into Trouble For Supporting Endsars So I Had To Leave Nigeria” – Davido Reveals

Davido has revealed how he had to flee the nation in search of safety after getting into difficulty as a result of his participation in the country's #EndSARS protest last year.

Davido was one of the strong voices and celebrities that was highly engaged during the EndSARS campaign in 2020, as you may recall.

Davido made an appeal to several EndSARS protestors who were arrested in the Federal Capital Territory.

“I got myself into quite a bit of difficulty. I had no choice but to flee the nation. That was how awful it was. Everything related to the campaign was being re-posted. It was incredible to see so many people come out in such a positive light. And I'll say this: they paid attention to what we had to say. They were aware of our presence. He stated, “They may not have changed anything, but they were shaken.”
