Kweku Darlington has explained why it's crucial for musicians to remain focused on creating popular songs without relying on commercial institutions.

Kweku Darlington believes that relying on infrastructure is dangerous since it may not always be present.

He spoke to the fact that one does not need to be dependent on something in order to be successful when explaining to KMJ on Prime Morning on Tuesday.

I don't want to imply that I don't care about the structures or anything like that, but I also don't want to invest my energy in them. All I want to do is what I do. Since I'm not dependent on anything to make me famous, I don't really want to think about the structures. “I've learned that in this business if you succeed without all of these qualities, you'll be in it forever,” he said.

He thinks that some people who are dependent on industrial structures blame their absence for their failure to accomplish their objectives.

When questioned about how he is succeeding in the music business, he said that social media and the internet are helping him.

He remarked, “I'm earning money from a variety of sources that many musicians are unaware of.” Even before I started blowing, I was sharing my music. The internet has a lot of resources.

The “Sika kankan” hitmaker warned his fellow musicians that “hunger will kill you” if they weren't particularly smart.

He also said that decent lyrics are more important to him than popular music. He begged the other musicians to stand for something rather than dissipate into nothingness.

He claimed that the reason the veteran musicians' songs are still relevant today is that they penned powerful lyrics.
