He impersonated me – Epixode reveals why he sacked his manager

Epixode recently explained to the media and his supporters why Exhibit, his longtime manager, was let go from his team.

The talented Ghanaian musician, who excels in Dancehall and, until recently, Highlife, complained to journalist Kwame Dadzie on Joy Prime that his management had improperly used his social media sites for business objectives without his consent, tarnishing the name of his brand.

According to what our attorneys wrote, there was some form of imitation, which was bad for our brand. We truly engage with people in the job we do, so when I had commercial dealings with individuals I was unaware of as Epixode, I didn't believe it was good for the brand, he added.

“Because he was handling my social media pages he had had businesses in the name of Epixode which the whole team didn't know about and it was not looking good as time went on so we all had a very good understanding that we needed to move on.”

News about Epixode dismissing his manager Exhibit first made the headlines in December 2022 after the musician shared an official communique with the general public about the fire burning in his camp. 

According to a release written by his lawyers, Ankoma Mensah & Associates, with immediate effect, Ezhitbit is no longer a manager, representative, or agent of Epixode, nor does he have anything to do with his brand.

The fallout's cause was not addressed in the statement, but it appears that both sides split amicably, which could presage a hard fight in the days to come.

Epixode is the stage name of Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo, a Ghanaian reggae dancehall musician, fashion designer, and fine artist.

When Epixode was in elementary school, he began by performing for the school fair and competing on behalf of his school.
