Nkwasia Thinking Nkoaaa – Confused Ponobiom Shades Ghanaian Musicians Aiming At Grammys

The competition to see who will take home Ghana's first Grammy award has generated a lot of discussion on social media in recent years.

Ghanaians are still eagerly waiting for the big triumph, despite the fact that certain musicians, such as Rocky Dawuni, have repeatedly tried their luck on the Grammy stage with many nominations.

But in a new “own goal post,” Ghanaian rapper Kojo Ansah Asare, better known by his stage name Ponobiom, has made a U-turn to subtly shade Ghanaian musicians who are aiming to be the first to bring a Grammy plaque to the motherland. Ponobiom previously admitted to praying to God for a Grammy.

His comment came a few hours after his acclaimed cousin, with whom he is at loggerheads, Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known as Stonebwoy, released his latest album, 5th Dimension, which is Grammy-standard.
