Walter Bruce Willis is a retired American actor, producer, and musician. Born on March 19, 1955, in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany, Willis is 68 years old as of 2023.

His iconic role in the comedy-drama series Moonlighting gained him much recognition as well as his role as John McClane in the “Die Hard” film series. Willis has also appeared in other successful movies like “Pulp Fiction,” “The Sixth Sense,” and “Armageddon.”

Besides acting, Bruce Willis has starred in numerous films and starred in low-budget direct-to-video films. He retired in 2022 due to aphasia and frontotemporal dementia in 2023. He released his debut album, The Return of Bruno, in 1987 and made his Broadway debut in 2015. He has received numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and a Hollywood Walk of Fame star.

Beyond his entertainment career, Willis was a former Massachusetts Governor, campaigned for Democratic Governor Michael Dukakis's presidential bid in 1988.
