#2023TidalRave: Stonebwoy’s Team Furiously React To Disrespectful Manner Sarkodie’s Team ‘Sacked’ Him From The Stage

The crew of multi-award-winning Ghanaian rapper Stonebwoy has responded angrily to what they refer to as a terrible occurrence that happened on Saturday, November 4, 2023, during the Tidal Rave Festival in Accra, leaving both fans and musicians dumbfounded.

According to a post on Gerrrald Israel's Facebook, one of Stonebwoy's team members and the head of Burniton Music—one of Ghana's most well-known music exports—he was the victim of an astonishing act of disrespect during his performance, and he raised concerns about the lack of decorum and punctuality in the entertainment industry.

According to Gerrald, the saga began when Stonebwoy and his team arrived at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel at 10:12 PM, which was about two hours before his scheduled performance from 12:15 AM to 1:00 AM.

It was a painful four-hour wait for the artist, though, when the festival producers notified them of a changed running order, resulting in an additional hour of delay.

He continued by saying that Stonebwoy calmly waited despite the unanticipated delay, while KiDi, Efya, La Meme, and Joey B filled the time that was initially scheduled for his performance.

Gerrald added that Stonebwoy was scheduled to perform for 45 to 50 minutes when he eventually entered the stage at 1:27 AM. But only thirty minutes into Stonebwoy's set, mayhem broke out when Sarkodie's entourage—headed by DJ Mensah—quickly stopped Stonebwoy's performance by telling his DJ to stop playing.

He stressed that this disrespectful interference not only disrupted the artist's flow but also left the audience bewildered. In his closing remarks, Gerrald expressed his outrage, highlighting the blatant disrespect and inappropriate behavior exhibited by Sarkodie‘s team and stating that it is not only unacceptable but also tarnishes the reputation of the entire music industry.
