“Nothing Seems To Be Working Under Akufo-Addo’s Government” – Okese 1

President Akufo-Addo has been tasked by fast rising Ghanaian rapper Frank Nana Afrane, also known as Okese1, to address the country because he believes nothing is operating under his leadership.

On the Kastle Entertainment Show, he said, “As for fixing the economy, the government must make sure to do a lot of improvements in the system because the system is poor to be honest nothing seems to be working in the system.”

Adding up to the interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM in Cape Coast, Okese1 said that most Ghanaians living abroad are better off as a result of the governments’ good policies.

When you equate how things are going in those countries and how they live their lives outside, it’s all about the regimes in those countries that have made it easier for them to enjoy,” he said.

“So people can’t only fix themselves,” he fumed, “though they can do their part to ease their lives, but what would make life more fun for the most of them depends on the government of the day.”

“For example, in the United States, the government is providing covid-19 relief, topping up the wages of employees who have lost their employment due to covid-19 struggles, raising the minimum wage, and also providing monthly stipends to those who have lost their jobs and are unemployed.

“However, after Covid-19 arrived in Ghana, I’m not sure they’ve shared a single dollar with anyone. So I beg the government to do something because people in this country are suffering greatly,” he concluded.
