Don Jazzy raises the bar, supports Davido’s birthday dream with about $11k

Popular music producer and singer, Don Jazzy, splashes the sum of $11,000 on Afrobeat star, Davido Adeleke, for his upcoming birthday.

This is coming a day after Davido set out to make N100M to clear Rolls Royce car from the port for his 29th birthday coming on the 21st of November.

Since the announcement, Davido has made over N150M which came from hundreds of people who sent between N1M and N5M, until now that Don Jazzy breaks the record of sending $11,000; a rough estimate of about N6M.

The billionaire's son made the announcement of Don Baba J's generous gift via his Instastory with a wide grin on his face.

Meanwhile, Yesterday, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido took to his Twitter page to request assets from his fans and different associates in the music business to surprise him on his birthday. 

The ” Nigeria's super hitmaker” continued to straightforwardly label some popular artists to send him 1 million Naira which is equivalent to GH$14,909.06. 

The Fall hitmaker referred to Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Edem, Medikal and Darko Vibes and encouraged them to forward their cash since he has had been able to give them hit songs.

Medikal is the only artiste from Ghana who has sent his birthday gift to Davido after forwarding him $1000 (411,830.00 Nigerian Naira) to register his name.

Stonebwoy whose name was also in the list referred to has ensured Davido that he should be on hold to get a huge bank alert from him.

The Afro-Dancehall hitmaker took to his IG page to wish OBO a happy birthday and also make this pledge saying “ Happy bday davido, morelife!!!. Hold on for the Alarm”.. Continue Reading
