Wizkid Finally Breaks Silence And Reveals Why He Failed To Show Up At His Concert In Ghana

Wizkid has finally commented after causing many of his Ghanaian fans heartbreak by failing to appear at the performance organized for him at the Accra Sports Stadium.

He broke his silence over the concert no-show with a post on his social media platforms.

Wizkid disclosed in the statement that his choice not to attend the event was based on a variety of acceptable circumstances, the most important of which was that he did not like the way the show's organizers handled production.

He concluded by promising a show in Ghana for his followers, which he will organize personally.

Ghana is a country I hold so dear to my heart, first and foremost I wanna apologise to all my fans! Y'all know I would never do anything, without a serious reasoning behind it. My brand is something I don't joke with!

I sincerely apologise, to everyone who made the effort to come out for me last night. I was charged up, looking forward to doing this show. However, please understand that every decision I made co-sided with honoring my fans, and would only make a drastic decision like this because it was the right thing to do and I had to.

Unfortunately, up until the day of this show, there continued to be safety and production issues that prevented me from putting on a high-quality show that my fans deserve. My Team and Myself are working on delivering a show to my amazing fans in Ghana. It will be just us, me and you.

Wizkid was supposed to perform at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 10, 2022, but he did not appear, leaving fans dissatisfied.

The concert's organizers, Live Hub Entertainment, expressed an apology for the artist's inability to appear on the night of the event.

The organizers apologized to the patrons and accused the African music singer of breaching his contractual commitment in a statement posted on its social media platforms.

They also pledged to refund ticket holders for the event.

“Wizkid breached his contractual obligation last night. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. We will issue FULL refunds to all who paid for tickets”
