Ghanaian rapper Frank Senanu Lawstand, better known as Agbeshie, has been billed to perform at one of the greatest annual parties held in the Netherlands, the King's Day Party.
For his energetic and enthusiastic performances, it can be assured that the 2018 VMA Artist of the Year will give out his best, as he always does. However, the king will be performing at the Delvestein 100, 1102 AK Street in Amsterdam.
King's Day, also known as Koningsdag, is an annual event observed on April 27 in honor of the king's birthday. It is well known for being among the largest and most vibrant celebrations in the Netherlands, particularly in Amsterdam.
Koningsdag or King's Day is a national holiday in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Celebrated on 27 April, the date marks the birth of King Willem-Alexander. When the Dutch monarch is female, the holiday is known as Koninginnedag or Queen's Day and, under Queen Beatrix until 2013, was celebrated on 30 April.

King's Day Amsterdam is not marketed outside the Netherlands, but many folks from abroad have discovered this fantastic event anyway. Many now come to Amsterdam year after year, vying with the Dutch for hotel rooms.
On King's Day there are celebrations throughout the Netherlands. However, the most popular destination is Amsterdam where an average of 700.000 visitors join the 822.000+ locals in the world's largest street party.
In recent years Amsterdam authorities have actually taken some measures, with success, to try and stem the flow of visitors as the city simply became too full.
For instance: large-scale, DJ and artist-driven events have been moved to the outskirts of the city, where they can be reached via nearby train stations. Plus, you need tickets to get in. The events tend to sell out weeks earlier.
This means there will be fewer ‘herds' of people thronging and pushing their way through the city on their way to various events, held at squares and other public locations already filled to capacity.
