I’ve smoked weed, engaged in vices in society – Sonnie Badu

Gospel musician and preacher Dr. Sonnie Badu has stated that he was involved in a variety of wrongdoings before coming to know and trust God.

The artist, who is well-known for stirring up controversy, claimed that during his senior year of high school in Takoradi, he indulged in all vices.

Sonnie Badu who was speaking on Accra-based Starr FM said “I've smoked weed before. When I was in GSTS”.

He further indicated that “In school, I was a bad boy. I was into every bad thing” adding that “ We used to jump the wall to go to the club”.

Sonnie Badu said that he originally intended to pursue a career in highlife music but that his path changed after discovering his calling.
