“Charterhouse Gave All My Awards To Lasmid Last Year, I Don’t Think I’ll Be Cheated This Year” – Dj Azonto

Known by his stage name DJ Azonto in the music industry, singer and disc jockey Mark Kwesi Arthur is optimistic about winning the 2024 Ghana Music Awards (GMA).

As per the ‘Fa No Fom’ hitmaker, he doesn’t believe that Charter House, the awards organizers, would deceive him once more, unlike their last edition.

He told Amansan Krakye that if his song featuring Kumawood star Lil Win doesn’t win a huge prize, he won’t trust the awards program again.

He revealed: “After what they did to me last year, I won’t trust VGMA again if my song with Lil Win doesn’t win Most Popular Song of the Year.

“Given that they awarded my prize to Lasmid at the previous year’s VGMA, I don’t imagine Charter House would deceive me again in 2024.

“I don’t expect them to repeat the same mistake that they did last year, when they purposefully chose to sideline Fa No Fom, which everyone spoke against.”
